SG-Edit W Software Program
SG-Edit W is a Windows software application program for a PC computer.
This program was designed to establish a communication link between a
Texscan MSI Character Generator and a personal computer. SG-Edit W can be
used to create, edit, and store text files, Setup Menu, Sequence Files, Set Line
Levels, and event schedules used by Texscan Character Generators.

SG-Edit W Capabilities: CG to PC
From a Texscan MSI character generator, the following functions can be performed
in conjunction with the PC computer with SG-Edit W software:

Text from pages and Event Schedules on character generator
can be sent to the PC via Batch Transfer for Backup Storage

Download from PC all Text Pages and Events Schedule stored
at the PC in the event of CG data loss

SG-Edit W Capabilities: PC to CG
Using the power of a PC computer, SG-Edit W software can provide true
offline editing of a Texscan MSI character generator. When editing from
the PC the following functions and more can be performed:

Remotely Add or Edit CG Text from PC using SG- Edit

Storage - PC saves all page text and events from the Character Generator

Make changes at the PC without interrupting the current CG display.

Schedule Out Events up to one year in advance

Automatic CG time and date correction from the PC with each batch transfer

Print a hard copy of any text on CG pages

File Conversion - Standard DOS and windows text are converted to proprietary
Texscan MSI CG Text
