ZWS14 / ZWS14D TroubleB> ZWS14 / ZWS14D Troubleshooting

1)    Before placing the weather instruments outside check for any damages or loose connections.
2)    Verify that the cables are connected securely to the Interface Module.
3)    Check to see if COM Port 2 on the Z Series Character Generator is set for Weather at 150 Baud.

NOTE: Wind Direction, Wind Speed and Rain Gauge updates much faster than the
              Temperature, Humidity and Barometric Pressure .

Barometric Pressure Adjustments

1)    When adjusting the Barometric Pressure module for the barometric pressure, it is important
        to adjust the potentiometer in small incremented turns. Try adjusting the potentiometer in a
        counter-clockwise rotation.

Troubleshooting the Weather Instruments

1)    The weather information is not updating.
       a) Check to see that the power to the ZWS14 / ZWS14D Interface Module is on.
 &nbModule is on.
           A green light will be on if there is power to the module.
       b) Verify that the weather instruments are securely connected to the ZWS14/ ZWS14D
           Interface module.
       c) If the Wind Direction, Wind Speed and Temperature is not updating check the cable
           connection within the metallic mountable bracket of the Wind Instrument is secured.
           You will need a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the bracket cover.
       d) If there are any erratic behavior to the weather information, power down the
           ZWS14/ZWS14D Interface Module and then power it up again. Power down
           the character generator and then power it up again.
